Slime
6/15/18
My sister Zoe’s grade has been going through a new phase. They make and sell slime. I’m going to be a counselor this year and we were told to come up with some activities to lead with the kids. I though slime would be fun, and we could do it under the guise of science. So today Zoe “taught” me how to make slime (we just followed online directions). We made light pink “fluffy” slime - meaning it had shaving cream in it. I chose the color pink because I liked the idea of something oozy being a delicate pastel. The other slime we made wasn’t fluffy, and Zoe made it a turquoise color - presumably because that’s her favorite color (I wanted to make it black - but I don’t that would have worked even if we had tried it).
